World AIDS Day celebrated at Mewar University Organized by Technical Today Club
The Technical Today Club of Mewar University organized various programs on World AIDS Day to create awareness among people about AIDS. The awareness program was conducted among the people through street plays and lectures. The Technical Today team of Mewar University went to the slum located near Mewar University in the morning and conducted an awareness event about AIDS among the people through street plays. After this a seminar on ‘End Inequalities, End AIDS’ was organized in Maharana Pratap Seminar Hall located at Mewar University. As the chief guest Dr Suchismitah Pathak, Deputy Medical Superintendent, Pacific Institute of Medical Science, Udaipur, our speaker delivered a lecture on the topic of Evolution and changing trends in the management of AIDS. . By giving welcome address at this program, Anand Vardhan Shukla, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Mewar University said that we should remember that AIDS is a disease which we acquired ourselves. Mr Lone Faisal, the coordinator of the event (convenor of technical today club), gave a presentation on the case study of AIDS disease spreading in different regions of India. Therefore, the only remedy for this is restraint, vigilance, and safety. The program was conducted by Ihaan and a vote of thanks by Sarita Sharma. The program started with the lighting of the lamp and ended with the national anthem. On this occasion Prof. Chitralekha Singh, Dr Hari Singh Chauhan, Vandana Chundawat, Dr Sumit Kumar Pandey, Dr Anwar Ahmed Wani, Deepak Joshi, Nirma Sharma, Raj Singh, Arfa Majeed, Shadab Ahmad, Narender Ved, Abdul Razzak, and members of Technical Today team including Tejaswini, Rimjhim,S.Lungshila, Nenghoikim Chongloi, Pemsochon Yangya, Herdalin Thabah, Senzitha Marak, Sandeep Kumar, Faizan Ahmad, Vivek Kumar, and other technical today members were the main lead in a drama about AIDS awareness.
