YS RESEARCH EXCELLENCE AWARD 2016

Mr. Shashank Kr. Dwivedi, Editor, Technical Today was awarded prestigious YS Research Excellence award 2016 at Doon University, Uttarakhand  for his contribution in the field of Science Journalism. He delivered a lecture at the National Conference on “ Role & Concerns of Citizens in Good Governance”  organized by YS Research Foundation of  Public Administration at Doon University on 30 August 2016. The aim of  this conference is to understand the participation of general public in our Indian Governance. Mr. Dwivedi  specifically emphasized “ Role  of Science & Technology in Good Governance” in his lecture . Participants and experts from several states attended the programme . The chief guest at the programme was Mr. Harish  Rawat, Chief Minister, Uttarakhand Government .The programme was presided over by  Padamshri Leeladhar Jagudi , Vice Chancellor of  Doon University, Dr.(Prof.) V.K.Jain was special guest and Director of  Foundation  Mr.Sushil Kr.Singh was the organizer of this programme. It was very well attended by enthusiastic and appreciative audience of Doon University.
